After 11 years of mud, obstacles, teamwork and plenty of very questionable clothing choices, the time has come for Commando to complete its final mission.
We’ve decided that 2026 will be the final year of Commando at Hever Castle. After more than a decade of watching thousands of recruits take on the course, get stuck in the mud, help each other over obstacles and cross the finish line together, it feels like the right time to bring this chapter to a close.
Commando has always been about more than simply getting around an obstacle course. It’s been about unity, camaraderie and taking on something that pushes you outside your comfort zone. We’ve loved seeing friends, families, clubs and complete strangers become a team for the day.
But after 11 years, we’re ready to turn our attention towards new challenges and new ideas.
That doesn’t mean this is the end of the story for us. Far from it. There are already plenty of things being discussed behind the scenes, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with you when the time is right.
For now, though, there’s one final mission to complete.
